YOUR INVESTMENT IN OUR PARENTING PROGRAM IS PAYING OFF! Several of the moms we mentor are transition from learning from us to serving with us.
Learn to Earn is our long-standing, free and confidential parenting program. It’s individualized to help moms and dads with their family challenges like child-rearing, under-employment or co-parenting. Learn to Earn also includes optional Bible Studies to help parents explore how their relationship with God might influence those in their home.
A few parents have successfully completed their program plan and are now transitioning into a volunteer role at Hope Unlimited Family Care Center. Other parents have told us they are grateful for the guidance and support, but their situations have changed for the better. They’d rather give their appointment to another family in need.
You can get more bang for your baby bottle when you return it by Father’s Day, Sunday June 17!
The Community Foundation of West Kentucky is matching the funds Hope Unlimited Family Care Center raises during our annual Baby Bottle Campaign… up to a possible $10,000!
Nearly 3,000 Illinois and Kentucky families took empty bottles to fill with change, cash or checks from Mother’s Day to Father’s Day. Hope Unlimited Family Care Center relies on the Community’s support of this fundraiser to continue to serve moms and dads as they raise their children. The more you give; the more families we can help!
You can return a baby bottle at your church or drop one off at one of our centers. If you didn’t get a bottle, but would like to contribute, you can donate securely online at www.hopeunlimitedfcc.org/donate. Thank you for giving!
Hope Unlimited Family Care Center has added some news services for people needing a pregnancy test!
In addition to offering free and confidential walk-in testing, Hope Unlimited’s licensed sonographer now provides courtesy ultrasounds for a “first look” at the baby! These scans are not diagnostic, but do offer moms and dads a chance to see their growing child’s heartbeat. All women are eligible for a courtesy ultrasound, as long as they are more than six weeks along and are not under another doctor’s care for the current pregnancy.
Patients in Kentucky may also choose to continue their medical care at Hope Unlimited Family Care Center’s prenatal care clinic in Paducah. In addition to a sonographer, Hope Unlimited has a registered nurse on duty all week. Dr. Jorge Cardenas is the attending obstetrician. Beginning this spring, all prenatal care clinic patients may enter a monthly drawing to win a car seat, thanks to funding provided by the Rotary club of Paducah, Thrivent Financial and donors Mary & Fred Burchett.
Now is the time to start thinking about your church or organization’s Baby Bottle Campaign!
Hope Unlimited Family Care Center distributes baby bottles Mother’s Day to Father’s Day each year. People fill bottles with cash, change and checks, with a goal to have each bottle contain $30. Every penny supports and empowers moms and dads to grow stronger families. Last year, more than 100 churches and many more businesses helped Hope Unlimited Family Care Center raise about $44,000 for parents on both sides of the Ohio River.
Starting or improving your campaign is easy! We would love to talk to you about how you can help families by filling a bottle. Call or email us today!
Thank you so much for a strong start to 2018… Because of your generous giving, Hope Unlimited Family Care Center will reach moms and dads who feel alone!
We asked many of you to contribute at the end of last year, setting a goal to see 50 new patients in our prenatal care clinic and give them a first glimpse of their growing babies. We also wanted to provide an opportunity for restoration for 15 people impacted by abortion.
Your overwhelming response makes us realize we, too are Not Alone when we work to support, empower and love families in our community. Thank you for partnering with us!
