Baby Bottle Blitz

Baby Bottle Blitz

You did it!  Your family and about 3,000 others have raised more than $44,000 through Hope Unlimited Family Care Center’s annual Baby Bottle Campaign.  That’s about $10,000 more than last year.  Thank you!  We certainly can make a difference when we each contribute.   Parents on both sides of the Ohio River will benefit, thanks to your efforts.

We would like to give a special thanks to: Lone Oak First Baptist Church, First Baptist Church in Paducah, as well as Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Golconda, IL for bringing in the most bottle money this year.  Many generous businesses helped us, too.  Customers at Midtown Market , Chick-fil-A Free-Standing and Pizza Inn, all in Paducah, gave the most.

Hope Unlimited Family Care Center distributes baby bottles Mother’s Day to Father’s Day each year.  People fill bottles with cash, change and checks.  Every penny supports and empowers moms and dads to grow stronger families.

Several of our past students took advantage of this free program because someone like you encouraged them.  You are our best recruiter!

Jobs for Life specializes in building confidence, value, work ethic and conflict resolution skills.  Our coordinator and volunteers also offer one-on-one mentoring through relationships. Graduates earn a certificate, gift card, and job referrals.  That’s not all!  Our team stays in contact after the program offering support during the job hunt, interview and employment journey.

Interested students must register for class by calling 270.442.1166.

More Bang for Your Bottle

More Bang for Your Bottle

Breaking news!  The Community Foundation of Western Kentucky’s Fred Paxton Charity Challenge is doubling proceeds from our annual baby bottle campaign this year up to $10,000!  Nearly 3,000 Illinois and Kentucky families took empty baby bottles to fill with change, cash or checks during our fundraiser between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.  Since Hope Unlimited Family Care Center doesn’t receive federal funds, what you give each year impacts how many moms and dads we can serve.  This year, we’ve challenged you to raise $30 per bottle.  The Charity Challenge match is open until August 31, so you still have time to see your dollars double.

Do you still have a baby bottle? That’s ok.  Whether it’s empty or full, we ask you drop it off at your church or by one of our centers. You will help us be good stewards by returning all bottles. Thank you for giving a little to help a lot!

How You Can Help

How You Can Help

You may know about Hope Unlimited Family Care Center’s community store, Hope’s Closet, but do you know how vital it is to our ministry?  All sales from both locations in Metropolis and Paducah go directly to our operating budget.  Last year alone, Hope’s Closet helped raise 8% of our budget!  When you shop you help us support and empower moms and dads to grow stronger families!

Here’s a great opportunity to do just that!  We’re launching special shopping hours this summer for two Super Saturdays.  Shop Hope’s Closet – Metropolis July 8 and August 12 from 10 until 3 PM.

The store also serves as a safe place to make connections.  Our volunteers get to know shoppers, and, in so doing, invite them to try Hope Unlimited Family Care Center’s free and confidential services.  We’re able to help so many more families, just by operating the store.  We need store volunteers in Paducah and Metropolis any time, especially Mondays from 10-1 PM or 1-4 PM.    Call one of our centers to find out more or start an online application at
